NTT, Inc.
TOKYO — May 28, 2026 — NTT, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Akira Shimada; hereinafter "NTT") has formulated the NTT Nature Positive Business Vision (hereinafter the "Vision"). It is a vision to promote future services and businesses in the field of "nature-positive",*1 where putting nature on a path to recovery and realizing a sustainable society are aimed. In light of the recent growing interest and expectations toward achieving nature-positive, NTT, under this vision, will accelerate the promotion of services and businesses to support initiatives by diverse entities, including corporations, governments, and citizens.
Of the total value added*2 within the global economy, some USD 44 trillion (almost half of global GDP) depends on natural capital such as forests and soil*3. However, the degradation of biodiversity, which supports this natural capital, is progressing at an unprecedented rate*4. Against this backdrop, interest in biodiversity conservation and the nature-positive sector has been rising globally, especially following the adoption of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework*5 at the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in 2022.
In Japan, the government has formulated its Nature Positive Economy Transition Strategy*6, and there is an expectation for diverse stakeholders, including businesses, government, and citizens, to work towards realizing a nature-positive economy.
In response to such movement, it has become important for companies and governments to correctly grasp and analyze the state of biodiversity and natural capital, and to take actions of risk management and value creation.
NTT places sustainability at the core of its management and has been supporting customers through services we provide. In the field of nature-positive too, we will strengthen and expand our support to companies and local governments—accelerating the transition to a Nature Positive Economy.
Considering this background, NTT has formulated the NTT Nature Positive Business Vision, a vision to promote services and businesses in the field of nature-positive.

The NTT Nature Positive Business Vision
To realize this vision, NTT Group companies will develop and roll out a variety of services in the field of nature-positive in Japan and the other countries. In addition, we will actively work on initiatives, including service development in collaboration with external partners, to ensure that we can offer optimal proposals for our customers.
Based on this vision, NTT Docomo Business, Inc. has started providing a natural capital monitoring solution service.

*5The "Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework" is a new set of global biodiversity targets adopted in December 2022. Its mission for 2030 is to "halt and reverse biodiversity loss," essentially aiming for a "nature-positive" outcome, which involves the restoration and enhancement of natural ecosystems.
*6Japan's "Transition Strategies toward Nature Positive Economy," approved by the Cabinet in March 2024, outlines a vision and pathway for transitioning to an economy that conserves nature by changing the behaviors of businesses, financial institutions, and consumers.
